You may now add a specific class to all new inventory items added to the system through Paladin’s Ace EDI system. This new feature will simplify the generation of POS based reports on your new items. We suggest that once the new items have been reviewed, the operator should remove the ‘trigger’ class so the item will not be included on future report runs.
To enable this feature click File – Setup – Company and scroll down the screen until you observe the EDI information box. Place a check mark in the box beside “Put New Inventory Items in Specified Class” and enter the class you wish to use. Click Save on the bottom of the screen to complete the task.
This new feature is limited to Ace Hardware EDI systems. If you desire this feature for another brand of supplier, please let Paladin Customer Service know and we will make this happen.
