New Features Simplify Quoting
Clients often have projects that utilize the same materials, and because of this, develop quotes in Paladin that can be utilized repeatedly over time. Because of this, Paladin now has a No Del (no delete) setting. This allows stores to retain and modify past invoices to insert new quotes for current or upcoming jobs, which simplifies the quoting process.
With the No Del setting, quotes/invoices can be saved for future use. With the Insert Quote feature, quotes can be inserted into invoices, which makes providing future quotes easier.

FastQuery
FastQuery is Paladin’s latest integration partner. FastQuery works through PaladinGo to act as an AI copilot for store employees, giving them instant access to the store’s entire inventory and related product information. It instantly allows even new hires to sell products and work like store veterans.
Benefits:
- Speeds up customer service by allowing staff to quickly find product details, availability, and location.
- Helps new hires perform at the level of experienced staff by providing instant, AI‑driven answers.
- Streamlines store operations and improves team productivity.

Rounding to the Nearest Nickel
Due to the phasing out of the penny, enabling this feature causes Paladin Point of Sale to automatically apply a coupon to round up or down the total invoice amount of cash payment type invoices to whole nickel increments. This method ensures a customer doesn’t need change in pennies and sales tax calculations are correct on modified invoice totals. Stores can easily monitor the financial impact of this feature by viewing the revenue block of the Comparative Revenue report and reviewing the revenue type “Pennies.”
Clients now have the option to round up or round down.
- Values that end in 1 or 2 cents round down
- Values that end in 3 or 4 cents round up
- Values that end in 6 or 7 cents round down
- Values that end in 8 or 9 cents round up

Do it Best – Improved Reporting for Online Sales Tax
We’ve updated the way the Comparative Revenue report in PaladinPOS displays sales tax associated with Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store (BOPIS) orders placed through the Do it Best e-commerce integration. Previously, sales tax for these orders appeared in the report as Other Tax, which could imply that the tax was collected by your store.
In reality, those taxes are collected by the Do it Best e-commerce platform, not by PaladinPOS. To better reflect how these transactions are handled, the report now displays this amount as External Tax.
This change affects reporting only. It does not change how taxes are calculated or processed for online orders.
