New Features for Stores

  • INTEGRATION WITH ACE’S BUY MORE AND SAVE (BMAS) PROGRAM
  • DELIVERY ADDRESS EXPANSION
  • VOIDING INVOICES (UPDATED)

These features are available to stores running build 7397.1 and higher.

Integration with Ace’s Buy More and Save (BMAS) program

Ace Rewards stores benefit from Ace marketing efforts on their behalf, including the new Buy More and Save (BMAS) program. Paladin’s Ace Rewards integration is fully compatible with all Ace sale types and can now download and process BMAS promos, allowing stores to reap the full benefits of the Ace Rewards program.

  • Automatically download sales from Ace
  • Seamless processing of Ace sales as advertised
  • Smooth checkout experience
  • Automated reporting to Ace for reimbursement (as applicable)

This sale type is available to all Ace stores running build 7397.1 and higher with Ace Rewards enabled and requires no additional setup or enablement.

Delivery Address Expansion

Stores providing delivery service to business customers need to track delivery addresses at a project level; and in the increasingly complex world of sales tax, they frequently need to calculate tax based on the delivery location. Taxes can now be calculated based on the delivery address using Avalara Avatax integration, ensuring total compliance with tax rules. Furthermore, the checkout process in Paladin is even more streamlined.

  • Assign a project at checkout from within the delivery window
  • Choose a project delivery address at checkout
  • Assign a delivery address to a project at checkout
  • Calculate sales taxes based on delivery address with the Avalara integration
  • Enhanced checkout efficiency

How to enable this feature: Once your terminal is running build 7397.1 or higher, you will have this feature on that machine.

Voiding Invoices (updated)

Stores occasionally need to void previously completed invoices, including Account Payments. Voids should conform to accounting best practices and allow stores to balance all revenue types. They should also provide traceability for enhanced fraud detection. With this update, they now have enhanced capability to do this. Paladin’s updated voids feature provides the following benefits and more:

  • Stores may now review voided invoices, in their full detail, at any time.
  • Historical reports now remain valid – in the previous system, historical financial records could be altered, which is no longer the case.
  • Voids are now “unhooked” and will not be visible to the customer.
  • Daily balancing of all revenue types is important – voids reverse the original invoice and payment type on the day the void is executed.
  • Automatic credit card refunds are attempted with BlockChyp processing.
  • Tracking inventory SOH levels throughout the timeframe of the original invoice through the reversing void event is now possible.

How to enable this feature: Once your terminal is running build 7397.1 or higher, you will have this feature on that machine.
