To create signs for a sale:
- In Paladin, from the main menu, select File > Setup.
- Select the Sale List tab.
- In the Sales pane, click New.
- Enter the name of your sale in the Name box.
- In the Sale Items pane, click New to add items to the sale.
- In the Part Number box, enter the part number.
- Enter the sale price in the Price box
- To print signs for each item in the sale, in Sales pane, click Print Sign.
- To only print a sign for a single item, in the Sale Items pane, highlight the item, then click Print Sign.
- In the Sale Sign Export window, enter the Start Date and the End Date for the sale, then select one of the following options:
- Append to File: This option adds the sale signs for the selected inventory items to the end of the existing sale sign file. (Not recommended)
- Overwrite File: This option creates a new sale sign file with only the selected inventory items. (Recommended)
- Click OK.
- Click Save, then click Close.
- In Paladin, from the top menu, select Reports > MS Access Templates.
- In the Access Reports MainPage tab, click Sale Signs.
- In the MainSignPage tab, click one of the eight Sale Signs.
- In the CustomSaleSign tab, select the Sale Sign size that you want to print from Microsoft Access.
- In the SignEntryForm tab, enter the text for your sign in the Text box.
- Click Run.
- In the SalesFlyer tab, view your sign, and if accepted, from the top menu, click Print.
- In the Print window, select a printer and any parameters to associate with the print.
