New Features for Stores

  • Parent/sub-accounts
  • Customer management update
  • Store-to-store stock check

These features are available to stores running the build ending in 7423.1 and higher.

Parent/Sub-Accounts

Stores work constantly to provide excellent customer service, especially to their business customers. This includes managing multiple accounts and projects. Paladin now allows the designation of a Parent Account to bring multiple sub-accounts together in the customer list as well as statement printing runs.

  • Set up Parent/Sub-account relationships in the Customers module
  • Sub-accounts appear directly below the parent account in Customer Lookup
  • Sub-account statements print after the parent account statement
  • Easier customer account management
  • Enhanced organization of customer base

How to enable it: Once your system is running build # 7423.1 or higher, this feature will be available. No additional enablement is required.

Customer Management update

Stores benefit from quick and efficient operations. To facilitate this, Paladin now allows them to choose a starting point in the Customer Management screen.

  • Choose to begin either in the Address 1 field or the Customer field
  • Let user flow follow the most common path
  • Faster access to the most relevant field

How to enable it: Once your system is running build # 7423.1 or higher, select “Keep Focus on Customer field during Customer Management” in File > Setup > Company tab > Customers Pane.

Store-to-Store Stock Check

For businesses with more than one store, the ability to check on stock on hand at other locations can enhance customer service. Paladin now provides the ability to check on stock on hand at other locations while running our single store configuration. This will enable the store to satisfy customer needs quickly, and manage inventory across multiple single-store locations. The Store-to-Store stock check feature meets these needs.

  • View stock on hand at other single store locations
  • Manage inventory over all locations
  • Better customer service
  • Store-to-store referrals

How to enable it: Once your system is running build # 7423.1 or higher, call Paladin Support to enable and configure this feature.
