Paladin invoice barcodes use the code 128 barcode standard. This eliminates issues that cause some invoice barcodes to print incorrectly after a Windows update.

Most scanners can read the code 128 barcode standard. If your scanner is not reading new invoice barcodes, one of the following situations may be true:

  • You may need to set up your scanner to read code 128 barcodes. For help, contact Paladin Customer Support (contact info below).
  • Your scanner may not support code 128 barcodes. If this is the issue, consider buying a new 2D scanner. New 2D scanners support code 128 barcodes and let you scan customer information from driver’s licenses in many situations in Paladin. If you are interested in learning more about 2D scanners, contact Paladin Customer Support (contact info below).

We also recommend that you use code 128 barcodes for bin, shelf, and item tags. To see our 128 barcodes, refer to the LTSR Catalog.
