To obtain and set an app-specific password from AT&T, perform the following:

  1. Open a web browser to https://att.com and sign into the AT&T email account.
  2. From the Account menu, click Manage Profile.
  3. In the next window, under Sign In Info, click Linked Accounts.
  4. In the next window, in Secure Mail Key, create an app password.
  5. Copy the password.
  6. In Paladin, from the main menu, select File > Setup.
  7. Select the Forms tab.
  8. In the Email Options pane, paste the password in the SMPT Server Password box.
  9. Click Save, then click Close.
