This article describes how to accept multiple forms of payment (including FLEX cards) at checkout.

Note: Process the gift cards or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards, i.e., FLEX cards, first to determine if there will be a balance due via another payment type.

  1. In Paladin, on the top ribbon, select the Invoice/Quote module.
  2. To add items to an invoice, scan the items or enter the part numbers in the Part Number box. 

Note: Items that can be purchased with a pharmacy FLEX card will be identified with an F in the Description box.

  1. On the bottom ribbon, click F8 Checkout.
  2. On the bottom ribbon, click one of the following payment types:
    • Cash
    • Credit Card
    • Check
  3. Enter the amount that you want to apply to each form of payment.

Note: For FLEX card payments, skip this step. The total amount of qualifying purchases are automatically calculated and entered.

  1. Repeat Steps 4 and 5 until the total Amount Due is $0.00.
