Are you curious to know how customer demand for your products changes over time? Would you like to see your sales history by item? If so, the Master Report is the tool for you.
The Master Report lets you view and analyze a year’s worth of sales history by item in weekly (new!) or four-week time periods. Some versions of the Master Report also provide extensive inventory data for each item and are sometimes used to obtain this information.
What’s new
The Master Report just received these new enhancements:
- Two new report options that provide weekly sales history data by item as sold quantities or dollar revenue. All report data is provided in Excel, making it easy to view and analyze your sales data.
Note: Previously, the Master Report only provided sales history in four-week intervals. The four-week reports are still available.
NEW: Quantity sold per item for each week in the last year
NEW: Sales revenue received per item each week in the last year
The enhanced Master Report suite
With the addition of the two new Master Report options, you can request a year’s worth of itemized sales history in these ways:
- New! Weekly quantity sold per item
- New! Weekly sales revenue per item
- Quantity sold per item in four-week intervals
- Sales revenue per item in four-week intervals
- Quantity sold and total sales revenue in four-week intervals
Weekly reports provide 52 weeks of data and four-week interval reports provide data for 13 four-week intervals.
All report options provide data in an Excel spreadsheet. A PDF version of the report of the four-week interval report that returns both quantity sold and total sales revenue is also available.
Using the new interface
Each report option is defined by a combination of these new Master Report settings:
- Report Format: Specifies the report file type
- Data Type: Specifies the sales history data category,
- Display Type: Specifies the time interval
The table shows how to set up each Master File option using these settings.
