Ace Hardware: Override Instant Savings Taxable Value

Ace Hardware’s Instant Savings integration was originally built to allow sales tax to be calculated on the item’s original price, not the final Instant Savings price. While this is correct for most states, we have found some states allow reduced sales tax to be collected in some instances, such as Instant Savings.

Should your store reside in one of these states:

1. In Paladin, from the main menu, select File > Setup.
2. Select the Rewards tab.
3. In the Rewards pane, select Ace Hardware from the Customer rewards program field.
4. In the Ace Hardware pane, check Override Instant Savings Taxable Value From Ace and check Reduce Taxable Amount.
5. Click Save, then click Close.
