To save time for a customer during checkout, you can use one barcode to scan all items as you put them in the bag(s) and have them simultaneously appear on the invoice.

To set the bag checkout feature:

  1. In Paladin, from the main menu, select File > Setup.
  2. Select the Pharmacy tab.
  3. Check Enable Pharmacy Features.
  4. In the Pharmacy Web Service Integration 1 pane, check Enable Pharmacy COM.
  5. In the Pharmacy Web Service Integration 1 pane, check Enable GetRxItems (Bag Checkout).
  6. Click Save, then click Close.
