PaladinPOS™ Discount Analyst
Sometimes when a customer purchases a product, discounts, from a variety of sources, are applied to them. Discount Analyst is part of Paladin Point of Sale’s Quick Access menu in the Invoice Quote module that provides information that explains why these products are discounted when they are purchased.
The messages that appear regarding different sale types, discounts or pricing plans include:
- Manual price entry
- Manual discount
- Normal pricing plans
- Advanced sales
- Ace sales
- Coupons
- Special

PaladinPOS™ Best Rewards Coupon Validation and Override
We’ve made Do it Best coupon handling even smoother with Paladin’s latest integration: Best Rewards coupon validation via API. Now, when a DIB coupon is added to an invoice, Paladin automatically checks its validity against DIB’s servers.
If the coupon is valid, everything proceeds as usual. But if it’s expired or outside its valid date range, Paladin will alert the user with a warning. At that point, store staff can decide whether to reject the coupon or override the warning with manager approval.
This update helps prevent the accidental use of outdated or previously redeemed coupons – giving stores more control and flexibility while protecting margins. It’s a win-win for both staff and customers.
