triPOS Gift Card Setup

triPOS should already be set as the credit card processor for the client. For information and instruction on triPOS, refer to the triPOS KBA.

Prior to setting triPOS gift cards, the following needs to be performed:

1. In Paladin, from the main menu, select File > Setup.
2. Select the Credit Card tab.
3. In the Gift Cards pane, copy the Mercury Gift Card Class Number and Mercury Gift Card Reload Class Number. Both these will be used in the triPOS Gift Card Activation.
4. Uncheck Mercury Gift Card Activation.

To setup triPOS gift cards:

1. In Paladin, from the main menu, select File > Setup.
2. Select the Credit Card tab.
3. In the Gift Cards pane, check triPOS Gift Card Activation.
4. Paste the copied Mercury Gift Card Class Number into the triPOS Gift Card Class Number box.
5. Paste the copied Mercury Gift Card Reload Class Number into the triPOS Gift Card Reload Class Number box.
6. Click Save, then click Close.
7. Close and restart Paladin. 

Gift card balance can be viewed by the following:

1. In Paladin, from the main menu, select Tasks > triPOS Gift Card Balance.

The triPOS Gift Card Balance window opens showing the Amount Remaining on the card (if any), and you can press Check Another Card Balance if the customer swipes another triPOS gift card.
