Non-inventory items are not tangible products, so there is no corresponding stock on hand. A non-inventory item is often used to create a dump SKU or to represent a group of items sold together in a kit. When a non-inventory item is sold or returned, the stock on hand (SOH) will be set to zero and recorded in the SOH History viewer for auditing purposes.

  1. Open Paladin Point of Sale.
  2. On the top ribbon, click the Inventory module.
  3. In the Inventory tab, enter a part number in the Part # box.
  4. Click the General tab.
  5. In the Item information window, select the Non-Inventory checkbox in the upper-right corner.
  6. Click Save or press F12.
