Exchange alternate part number and primary part number

To exchange the alternate part number and primary part number:

1. In Paladin. on the top ribbon, select the Inventory module.
2. Do one of the following:
   • In the Part # box, enter a part number.
   • On the bottom ribbon, click Adv. Lookup to search for the part number.
3. Write down the primary part number.
4. Press Enter.
5. On the bottom ribbon of the module, click F6 Serial # & Alt Part #.
6. In the Alternate Part # & Serial # window, in the Enter Alt. Part # box, enter the alternate part number and write it down.
7. Click Add, then highlight the alternate part number that you want to use as the primary part number.
8. Click Remove, then click F12 Finish.
9. On the bottom ribbon of the module, click Rename Item.
10. In the New Part # box, enter the new primary part number, click Rename, then click Alt Part #.
11. In the Enter Alt Part # box, enter the new alternate part number, then click Add.
12. Click F12 Finish.
