Help with Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance
Merchants should contact Aperia Compliance Center Support, which is available Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM CT (closed for major holidays). They can be reached via:
- Phone: 844-870-2824, Option 1 for SAQ support, Option 2 for scan support.
- Webform: Click Contact Us in the top left corner of the screen.
- Chat: Click Chat in the top left corner of the screen.
Aperia support can assist with:
- SAQ selection and walkthroughs
- Reviewing vulnerability reports
- Password resets
- Zip code verification
Welcome email and reminder process
Welcome emails and compliance reminders are triggered based on the merchant’s current compliance status, SAQ, or scan expiration dates. Emails will be received from support@pciapply.com.
It is recommended that merchants ensure their email provider’s security tools allow them to receive, and not block, communications from support@pciapply.com.
How to create Secondary Users and allow them to view merchant portfolios
To create Secondary Users:
- Click Site Jump next to the Partner/Hierarchy that you want to create Secondary Users. This will log you in as the Primary User mirroring all their permissions.
- Hover over Users and click Manage Users4.
- Click Create New User.
- Complete the required fields and select the Secondary User role.
The following are permissions that only the primary user can access:
- Manage Users
- Access the FDR Opt Out Report
- Manage Documents
How to find more information about PCI
The Aperia portal is rich with resources, including general information about PCI. To find more information, log into the Aperia portal and select Resource Library in the top left corner, then click FAQs near the top-middle of the page.
The Resource Library houses SAQ guides, security information, and more.
Logging In
If you have a username and password (including a temporary password), use the following to log into PCI Apply.
- In the PCI Apply URL, then press Enter.
- On the Login page, enter your username.
- Enter your password.
- Click Sign In.
If you do not have a username and password, use the First Time Log In process to obtain them. If you enter the incorrect combination of username and password three times consecutively, the system will lock you out. You must then reset your password using the Forgot Password process.
First Time Log In
Use this one-time process to obtain a username and password:
- Enter the PCI Apply UR and press Enter.
- On the Login page, click Start Here under First Time Logging In.
- In the First Time Login window, enter your full merchant number.
- Enter the Last 4 digits of the Federal Tax ID or SSN you have on file.
- Enter your Two-character state code.
- Enter your ZIP/Postal code.
- Click Continue.
- In the Update My Profile window, enter your email address.
- Verify your First Name and Last Name.
- Enter a new password.
- Re-enter new password.
- Click the Show Password icon to view the text entered.
- Select a Security Question.
- Enter your Security Answer to the question.
- Click Submit to access PCI Apply.
Retrieve Forgotten Username
if you have previously logged in but have forgotten your username:
- Enter the PCI Apply URL and press Enter.
- On the Login page, click Forgot Username.
- Enter your Merchant ID Number and the email address associated with your account.
- Click Continue.
Your username will be sent to your email address.
Reset Forgotten Password
Use the Forgot Password function to obtain a temporary password. A temporary password will be sent to your email address. You can then use that password to log into PCI Apply. You will have to create a new password when you log in.
Temporary passwords are good for 72 hours.
- Enter the PCI Apply URL and press Enter.
- On the Login page, click Forgot Password.
- Enter your Merchant ID Number and the email address associated with your account.
- Click Continue.
- Enter the answer to your security question.
- Click Continue.
