About the Slow Movers Report

The Slow Movers Report gives a list of inventory items that are out-of-stock or that have sold in low numbers within a recent time period.

To create the Slow Movers Report, follow these steps:

  1. Open Paladin Point of Sale.
  2. Click the Reports module or press ALT +5.
  3. In the Report Area pane, click Inventory, and then click Performance Analysis.
  4. In the Report List pane, click Slow Movers Report.
  5. In the Choose Report pane, click Next or press F12.
  6. In the Report Settings pane, define which inventory items to report.
  7. In the Additional Settings pane, set any of the following options:
    • To set the sales history time period to review, in the Weeks of sales history to review box, enter a number in weeks.
Example: If you set this value to 52 weeks, the report will review sales over the last year.
    • To return items that have sold in low numbers, in the Report items with sales of less than box, enter a number. Items that have sold less than this number will appear in the report.
Example: If you set this value to 5, then items that have sold less than 5 are reported.
    • To only return items that are not in stock, leave the Report only out of stock items? checkbox selected. To return both in-stock and out-of-stock items, click the checkbox to clear it.
    • To open the report in Excel, select the Export to Excel? check box.
  8. In the Sorting Options pane, click Run Report or press F12.
