Build date: 8-Jan-18 Case 99478
This update applies to credit card transactions made using an E2E or EMV payment terminal.
When a cashier voids a credit card transaction that was previously approved by the credit card processor, the customer must confirm the void on the E2E or EMV device. If the customer does not respond or agree to the void, the original transaction is not cancelled, and an informational message appears in Paladin Point of Sale.
The image shows an example of the message.
The message text will include an explanation provided by the credit card processor.
Example explanations include:
- TRANSACTION NOT COMPLETE – Amount Not Acknowledged
- TRANSACTION NOT COMPLETE – Timeout Waiting For PinPad
- TRANSACTION NOT COMPLETE – Operation Cancelled
