The following image file types are supported for store logo image files in Paladin Point of Sale:

  • PNG (.png) [recommended]
  • GIF (.gif)
  • TIF (.tif)
  • BMP (.bmp)

Your logo image file must be no more than 1 MB in size.
You can add, update or remove a store logo image in Paladin Configuration, on the Forms tab (see steps below). An actual-size preview of how your image will appear on receipts, statements, and other documents created in Paladin Point of Sale is also displayed here.

JPEG (.jpeg, jpg) files are no longer accepted for logo images. If your current logo was uploaded as a JPEG file, you don’t have to make any changes. However, if you want to upload a new logo file, you must use one of the supported image file types listed above.

To add, update or remove a store logo image to display on receipts, statements and other documents created in Paladin Point of Sale, follow these steps:

  1. Open Paladin Point of Sale.
  2. On the File menu, click Setup.
  3. Click the Forms
  4. In the Logo pane, follow the steps to add, update or remove a logo image.
    • To add or update a logo image:
      1. Click Upload.
      2. Browse to the location of the image file on your computer.
      3. In the image file type list, choose from the supported image file types:
        • PNG logo (.png) [recommended]
        • Bitmap logo (.bmp)
        • GIF logo (.gif)
        • TIF logo (.tif)Note: JPEG logo images are no longer accepted. If your previous image was a JPEG image, you do not have to change it, but any updates to the image must use one of the supported file types.Image file types
      4. Select your logo file, and click Open. Your logo should display in the Logo pane as shown in the example image below.Logo on Forms tab
    • To delete a logo image, click Remove.
  5. In the Paladin Configuration window, click Close.
