We’ve improved the message that appears when you have set and locked an inventory item’s supplier ratio (Sup. Ratio) and order quantity (Order Qty) values, but you have not completed the supplier ratio setup process by doing one of the following:

  • Option 1: [Recommended] On the Pricing tab, in the Pricing Levels pane, in pricing level 1, in the Ref column, enter the reference margin that EDI processing will use to set the item’s price based on the supplier cost.
  • Option 2: On the Pricing tab, in the Pricing Levels pane, in pricing level 1, in the Sale Price column, enter the sale price for the item in your store. Then, click the Pricing Levels lock icon to prevent changes by EDI processing.
Note: If you use this option, you must manually change the sale price when the supplier cost changes.

This message appears when you try to save changes to the inventory item.

Tells you what to do to finish setting up a supplier ratio.
