Department Deletion function in File – Setup – Department now works differently. Users may now delete departments that have invoice and/or inventory records that are tied to the department you wish to delete. Actually the department isn’t deleted… it is simply removed from the lists of active departments. Now Advanced Lookup, Report selection criteria and Inventory department lists will not display departments that have been ‘deleted’.
