If you use the Avalara AvaTax™ service with Paladin Point of Sale, this information applies to you.
When a customer receives their purchased items at a location other than your store, Avalara automatically verifies the delivery address and may suggest an update. For example, Avalara may correct a misspelled street or town, or suggest that you add ‘W’ (for west) to a street name.
If you accept Avalara’s changes, the updated address is stored in the customer’s account, in the Delivery Information pane. The customer’s primary address that displays at the top of the Customers tab is not affected.
