1. On the File menu, click Setup.
  2. In the Paladin Configuration window, click Rewards.

    Note:  In the Rewards pane, if Rich Rewards is not selected, then you must setup Rich Rewards. See this KBA:  How to set up Rich Rewards

  3. Click the Class tab.
  4. Tell the customer that s/he will need a class ID to create single-use coupons.
  5. Do one of the following:
    1. If the client the client has a class ID for single-use coupons, write it down for a subsequent step.
    2. If the client does not have a class ID for single-use coupons, follow these steps:
      1. In the Classes pane, click New.
      2. In the Name box, enter SINGLE USE COUPON.
      3. In the ID box, enter an unused class ID number.  Write down the number for a later step.
      4. Click Save.
  6. Click the Dept tab.
  7. Ask the client which department s/he prefers to use for single-use coupons.  Note:  The department does not need to be restricted to single-use coupons.
  8. If the client does not have a department to use for single-use coupons, follow these steps:
    1. In the Departments pane, click New.
    2. In the Name box, enter SINGLE USE COUPON.
    3. In the ID box, enter an unused department ID number.
    4. Click Save.
  9. Click the Rewards tab.
  10. In the Rich Rewards pane, select the Enable Single-Use Coupons checkbox.
  11. In the Single-Use Coupon Class, enter the class ID number from step 4.
  12. Click Save, and then click Close.
