- You can purchase the following types of cash drawers from Paladin Data Corporation:
- Economical
- EP107 Professional
- EP107 Professional (USB)
- When the cash drawer is open, a transaction can only occur with manager approval.
- With the EP107 Professional (USB) printer, the cash drawer will open only when cash is owed to the customer.
- You can deposit signature slips or checks in two ways:
- Slide the item into the cash drawer slot.
- Open the cash drawer with a key.
- Unlock the cash drawer.
- Connect the cable from the bottom of the cash drawer to the following item:
Economical cash drawer | EP107 Professional | EP107 Professional USB |
STAR receipt printer | STAR receipt printer | Terminal |
- Open Paladin Point of Sale on the terminal that is connected to the cash drawer.
- On the File menu, click Setup.
- In the Paladin Configuration window, click the Network tab.
- In the Cash Drawer Interface Type list, select the following option:
Economical cash drawer | EP107 Professional | EP107 Professional USB |
Star Printer (USB) | Star Printer (USB)
|
MS Cash Drawer (USB) |
- Click Close.
In the store, the cash drawer will open when the transaction is processed and while the receipt is printing.
Note :If you do not want Paladin Point of Sale to open the cash drawer when a transaction is processed, you can change the Cash Drawer Interface Type setting to None for the following cash drawers:
- Economical cash drawer
- EP107 Professional, not USB
