Payment card security is a huge concern. We strongly recommend that you protect your internal payment card transmissions. The following payment terminals provide P2Pe encryption, end-to-end encryption, and tokenization for your payment cards on file:
- Worldpay (formerly Vantiv) VX805
You may also want to upgrade to Europay, Mastercard, and Visa (EMV) technology. Unlike magnetic strip information, EMV chips are very difficult to duplicate. Chip purchases are securely authenticated by inserting the chip-embedded card into the EMV slot that exists in EMV-enabled point-of-sale terminals. The Worldpay (formerly Vantiv) Equipment Options flyer will help you make an informed decision about which EMV card reader to purchase for the card reader device that you already have.
If you are eligible to upgrade to an EMV device through Paladin, a customer support representative will assist you through the upgrade process in the Paladin Store.
If you want to buy a new device, you can go to JR’s Depot to order it directly.
